WARNINGS
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE PROCEEDING
Please keep these warnings in a safe place for future reference.
WARNING:
Always follow these basic precautions to avoid the risk of serious injury or death from electrical shock, short-circuiting, damage, fire, or other hazards. These precautions include, but are not limited to, the following:
Do not open or disassemble the unit or modify its internal components in any way. The Reliq device contains no user-serviceable parts. If the device appears to be malfunctioning, discontinue use immediately and contact qualified Reliq service personnel.
Avoid exposure to moisture: Do not use the unit near water or in damp or wet conditions. Do not place liquids on the unit or allow liquids to spill into any openings.
Use the specified power supply provided by Reliq or a compatible one with the same specifications for powering the unit. Using an incorrect power supply can damage the unit and void the warranty.
Use the specified usb-c cable for the Breakout Module: The Breakout Module requires a USB-C Gen 3.1 cable for connection. Using an incorrect cable can damage the unit and void the warranty.
Do not attempt to connect the Breakout Module to a computer or other devices: The Breakout Module is designed to connect to the Reliq unit only. Connecting it to other devices can damage the unit and void the warranty.
Avoid incorrect connections: Do not connect any external devices, such as monitors or amplifiers, to ports not designated for such use. This could damage the device and void the warranty.
Protect the power cord: Do not place the unit or power cord near heat sources like heaters or radiators. Avoid excessive bending or damaging the cord, and do not place heavy objects on it.
Handle with care: When unplugging the power cord from the unit or outlet, always hold the plug itself, not the cord.
Environmental conditions: Do not expose the unit to excessive dust, vibrations, or extreme temperatures (such as direct sunlight or in a car during the day) as this may damage internal components.
Prevent accidental falls: Ensure the unit is placed on a stable surface to prevent it from falling over. Remove all connected cables before moving the unit.
Cleaning: Clean the unit with a soft brush or a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using paint thinners, solvents, cleaning fluids, or chemical-impregnated wipes. Do not place vinyl or plastic objects on the unit as this may cause discoloration.
Avoid excessive force: Do not rest your weight on, or place heavy objects on the unit. Avoid using excessive force on buttons, switches, or connectors.
Turn off when not in use: Always power off the unit when it is not in use.
Avoid water: The Reliq unit should not be exposed to dripping or splashing water. Do not place objects filled with liquids, such as vases, on the unit.
Altitude and pressure: Do not use the unit in conditions with extremely low air pressure.
Epilepsy warning: The unit may produce rapid light changes or flashing sequences that could potentially trigger seizures in individuals with photosensitive epilepsy. If you or anyone nearby experiences any symptoms, such as dizziness or visual disturbances, discontinue use immediately and consult a physician.
Reliq cannot be held responsible for damage resulting from improper use, modifications, or user-induced damage. Any damage caused by improper handling or modifications will not be covered by the warranty.
Electric plug safety: Before cleaning the unit, always unplug it from the outlet. Never insert or remove an electric plug with wet hands.
Keep out of reach of children: This product is not a toy and should be kept away from children.
Hearing protection: When used with amplifiers, headphones, or speakers, the unit may produce sound levels that could cause permanent hearing loss. Avoid prolonged exposure to high volumes. If you experience hearing loss or ringing, consult an audiologist and consider annual hearing check-ups.
By adhering to these warnings, you can help ensure safe and proper use of your Reliq unit.
